EARLY INTERVENTION
(Birth-5 years)
Is your child only making a few sounds, only grunting or pointing to request, is a “late talker”, or doesn’t combine words yet compared to peers?
SPEECH SOUNDS

Step 1
Free Phone Consultation
Reach our certified Speech-Language Pathologist by E-MAIL or our CONTACT FORM to set up a free initial consultation to answer basic questions about your child and discuss next steps if a communication difficulty is suspected.
Step 2
Individualized Evaluation and Diagnostic Report
Based on the child's case history and unique needs, a short "pass"/"fail" diagnostic screener or longer diagnostic evaluation is performed to pinpoint the child's communication strengths and weaknesses. A report with full findings is then written in collaboration with the family's input.
Step 3
Individualized Treatment Plan and Therapy
Together, we create a personalized speech & language treatment plan that includes tailored therapeutic goals and progress monitoring, ensuring that your child receives the support they need to thrive.

Steven Wilson, MS CCC-SLP
Steven Wilson, MS CCC-SLP, owner of Exclaim! Speech Therapy, PLLC, is a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) currently licensed by the State of Illinois and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). He holds a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders degree from East Carolina University. He has a passion for helping young children become more confident communicators, with a particularly keen interest in treating articulation and phonological disorders.
When he is not in the therapy room, he enjoys traveling, exploring the vibrant city of Chicago, attending live theatre and concerts, knitting, and spending time with his partner and two adorable cats.
